Casita Mediterránea
Welcome to Casita Mediterránea. You're in El Calvario, the authentic, village side of Torremolinos: a market on Thursdays, quiet streets and the centre a short walk away. With a patio and barbecue for long, lazy lunches. Here's everything you need for your stay.
The house
Your house at a glance.
- Private patio
- Barbecue
- Fully equipped kitchen
- Fibre WiFi
- Air conditioning
- Parking nearby
- Town centre and market a walk away
- Good for families and groups
- Check-in
- From 4:00 pm until 11:30 pm.
- Check-out
- Between 10:00 am and 10:30 am at the latest.
- Air conditioning
- Remote-controlled, cooling in summer and heating in winter, throughout the house: the bedrooms and the open-plan living-dining-kitchen that takes up the whole ground floor. To keep it efficient and mindful of energy use, keep doors and windows closed while it's on and switch it off when you leave. A gentle setting (around 24 °C / 75 °F) is more than enough — a small gesture that looks after the planet too.
- Patio & barbecue
- You have a patio and a barbecue to enjoy the house outdoors. We just ask for common sense: never leave the fire or embers unattended, be mindful of smoke towards the neighbours and, when you're done, leave it clean with the embers fully out.
- Rubbish & recycling
- In the house you'll find a bin for everyday use. When it's full, the municipal containers are right across the street as you step out — leave your bags there. Rubbish is collected daily, so you can drop it off any day.
- Parking
- There's no private parking space; you park on the street. Right next to it, on Calle Jamaica, there's a large open lot where people usually park with no trouble.See on the map →
- House rules
- Smoking is not allowed inside the house. Pets are welcome by prior request and for an extra fee, so please check with us beforehand if you'd like to bring yours. And, as always, treat the house as your own and respect the neighbours' rest, keeping quiet after 11 pm.
- Welcome treat
- On arrival you'll find coffee, water and herbal teas waiting for you — a small welcome treat. They're yours, enjoy them.

How to get around.
You're about a 10-minute drive or taxi ride from Málaga airport. By train, the C1 Cercanías line (Málaga–Fuengirola) links the airport and Málaga city with Torremolinos in just a few minutes. For a taxi, Radio Taxi Torremolinos runs 24/7. And around town, almost everything is walkable.
The sea
The beach, a short walk away
El Calvario sits inland, so the beach is a walk downhill: a short stroll takes you to Bajondillo via the Cuesta del Tajo, and a little further on you'll find La Carihuela and its espetos. By car, any of Torremolinos' beaches is just minutes away.
